Fortune by Mathew Ingram, Twitter Signs Another Live-Streaming Deal, This Time With Bloomberg

포켓몬 GO에 DAU도 역전당했다는 트위터이지만 최근 몇 주 사이 라이브 스트리밍 관련 계약들이 많이 이루어졌다. 트위터가 정치 시즌에 가장 주목받았던 미디어이기는 하지만 미 공화당과 민주당 전당대회를 라이브 스트리밍 하기로 발표한 것에 이어 다른 라이브 스트리밍 계약들도 체결중이다.

트위터는 CBS와 계약에 이은 윔블던 테니스 토너먼트부터 다가올 전당대회에 이르기까지 실험을 공개하며 상당히 빠르게 스트리밍 라이브 비디오에 대한 집중을 늘리고 있다. 그리고 이제 트위터는 블룸버그 미디어와 또 다른 계약을 체결했다.

Twitter has been ramping up its commitment to streaming live video fairly rapidly over the past week or so, rolling out an experiment from the Wimbledon tennis tournament followed by a deal with CBS to stream the network’s coverage of the upcoming political conventions. And now the service has signed another deal with Bloomberg Media.
